News from 2011 IBC convention:- Grand Champion is Leo Buss;
- Marion Schultheiss recieved an award for outstanding service (mainly for her translation of the IBC standards, and also for promoting the standards).
- Chapter of the year award went to the chapter wich hosted Convention, California Betta Society.
- Other special awards, point standings etc...can be found on the Better Bettas Yahoo lists for IBC members.
- There are no changes to the judging standards this year.
- The class list for 2011-2012 show season should soon be decided;
- DT Plakat class and standard are accepted for Areas 2 and 6, but not for Area 1.
There are a few other subjects that have been mentionned at convention, and will be further discussed.
